Under The Weather

Hey Everyone,

I'm a bit under the weather so I'm laying in my bed right now typing this post on my phone...So I'm going to keep this short and challenge you with a question that I was wondering about over the weekend.

When you have reached the end of your time here on earth..

What would you want people to remember about you??

What would you hope people would say about you as a person?

Hit me with something to read while I recover!

Thanks for Reading!

I think about that all the time!
I want people to remind me as a kind-hearted person

interesting. i would want people to remember me for being kind, loyal, and giving because those are three of my strongest qualities. i think those that know me would definitely be able to speak on the fact that i was great friend; a friend that would do anything for them and that i was a man of a my word because that is very important to me. my business partners would say that i was a trustworthy person. and complete strangers would be able to say that i was kind and generous even though i didn't know them.

p.s.-please get better soon sis :-)

I pray you feel better soon!

I want to be remembered as the one people looked up to. You know, somebody that inspires you to want to be better because you see how they live. I know there are certain people that I watched when I was younger and not that I wanted to be them, but it ispired me to be better. I want to be that for others.

wow! what a topic! I want people to say that I was a good sista who tried to live her life in God's favor. I want my children to say that I was a fair, loving mom who tried to provide opps for my children despite any odds. I want to be remembered as a loving wife who allowed my husband to head my household as God commands, I want to be rememebered as a great friend who was always there, open to ideas and a great listener. I want to be remembered as a daughter that took care of my parents in their "golden years" ensuring that they want for nothing before they slide into Heaven!. I also want to be remembered as a strong black woman who did the damn thing when "they" said it couldn't be done. I want all to NEVER forget my laugh and think of me when laughing! Laughing is the best!

@Everyone- Thanks so very much for taking the time out to tell me how you'd want to be remembered. Some people aren't very comfy talking about death but our time here is in fact very short and sometimes you need to take a good look at the legacy you will leave. If you don't like the way its looking then you can make an effort to change for the better.

Thanks for the "Get Well Wishes" I'm not quite a 100% but better.

This is something I think about a lot. I think in general as people we get caught up in our placment in life on a materalistic basis.

I believe in karma, I would want people to remember me for my charachter and passion for pursing my dreams and helping others do the same. I would hope people could say that I am a good person who tries to bring out the best in everyone!

I would want people to remember the christain based lifestyle I tried to live. I would want them to see that it is possible to be like Jesus and still be a fun person. Hoopefully I would be an inspiration to someone.
Hope you feel better.

I would want people to say that my heart was genuine and that my smile was contagious! But most importantly, I would want Jesus to welcome me with open arms! See ya'll in heaven! PS, I hope you feel better, that smile is too gorgeous to be a frown!
