What If.........

"There's a cute guy who happens to get on the elevator on the 6th floor when I go to lunch around 1:15pm..he's always with a client or with a group of people...."

"Wow every time I see that guy at the library he seems so focused on his school work and I find that really attractive."

"There's a girl who comes into the bookstore where I work who takes my breath away every time I see her...but I don't think she'd date a guy like me."

"I've been friends with this woman that I've known for the past 3 years and although I've always found her attractive I don't think she'd ever see me in a romantic way."

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you see someone that has caught your eye but they have no idea you exist….You may see them at the company luncheons because they work in a different department…or a customer that happens to shop on the same days you do at the local supermarket.

So I was wondering what do you do…or should I say what have you done to get someone’s attention. Did you drop that orange hoping they would pick it up and strike up a conversation? Have you ever “appeared” to have a problem so that you could ask them for help?

For the Women I ask: Would you prefer to be approached or wait to be noticed?

For the Man: Do you ever wish that woman would approach you or do you prefer to make the 1st move?

I've done all kinds of things in the past to get noticed. Now, I simply just speak. It either turns into conversation or nothingness.

I'd prefer to be approached, though.

I found myself attracted to someone I had known for a about a year or so.... I had his number for work reasons and in the beginning, never really saw him "Like that" As the working relationship grew, I started respected "his abilities" and I found his confidence attractive. I never said anything but I did pretend to call from time to time seeking advice about work related things, just to hear his voice. Still work together but we are now friends. I do wonder what if though..... who knows?????

PS, I love the graphics

I have a coworker that I find attractive because of his skill level at work and the confidence he displays. I watch him from time to time from a distance though! Who knows, maybe one day I'll invite him to lunch, coffee, or a walk on the monument. Have a great day and I love the graphics for this post.

If a dude is not bold enough to approach me then he is not the dude for me. I am not going to go out of my way to make him notice. Just plain old boring TM should make him stand at attention!

I'm shy so I wait for them to approach me but I'm not gonna lie..flirt flirt flirt. I do the whole look at him the look away then look again...if he's looking at you when you look the second time then thats when you gota do the little smile thing and normally that reels them in lol.

PS you had commented on my blog about the type of camera I'm using its the Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z1050 and it's awesome

I am a big flirt.. That is to say if I found myself wanting to meet someone I just find something to talk about. During the initial exchange I determine if the person is worth some of my additional time or if he is just eye candy.

@jewells Hmm you left me wondering about what things you've tried in the past lol
@butterfly Isn't it interesting that sparks start to fly when you work closely with someone. It kinda forces you to take a better look or should I say an honest look at them without the added pressure of being romantically interested from the very beginning. I wondered what if about a good friend of mine and it turned out great..you never know!

PS: Thanks! I love the graphics I put together on this one also..It's my favorite so far lol

@C-Thanks for stopping by! lol I guess I should take your short comment as is because you promised you'd read. Thanks for reading C!

@Anonymous aka D-You and I both know you can strike up a convo with anyone! So I know you'd say something to get anyone's attention :-)

Im a guy and I would definately prefer if I made the first move. But until I find all my pieces of confidence that were shattered over the years, I will have to settle for the woman making the first move. But I cant wait to find all my pieces again!
